Buse Kanber

Communications and Content Manager

Buse Kanber serves as the Communications and Content Manager at Vuslat Foundation, shaping the narrative, content strategy, and community voice of the Generous Listening initiatives. She is responsible for making the program’s values visible, carefully cultivating the language of the approach, and supporting the expansion of Generous Listening to wider audiences.

In her role, Buse leads the strategic planning and production of digital and written content, fostering sustainable and trust-based communication with the community. She also facilitates Generous Listening Groups, actively contributes to the formation of new communities, and designs spaces that strengthen and nurture existing ones.

Prior to joining Vuslat Foundation, Buse worked in the fields of creative health and community-based wellbeing. She conducted research on equality, diversity, and inclusion, and facilitated group work with women and young people. Integrating her background in psychology with creative and holistic approaches, she designed practices centered on connection, expression, and collective healing. Her experience across civil society and educational settings has strengthened her practice of building safe and inclusive spaces.

Buse completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at University College London (UCL) and went on to earn a Master of Arts and Sciences (MASc) in Creative Health at UCL. In both her academic and professional work, she centers a holistic understanding of health, creative and community-based healing practices, and the Generous Listening approach.
