Generous Listening Vuslat Groups:
Volunteer Facilitator Pathway

Why We Need Volunteer Facilitators

The Generous Listening Vuslat Groups continue to grow through people who feel called to create spaces of empathy, presence, and connection. Volunteer Facilitators play a central role in sustaining and expanding this model, ensuring that emotional support becomes accessible to more communities.

By guiding new circles, facilitators help create environments where participants can experience the transformative power of generous listening.

Who Is a Volunteer Facilitator?

Volunteer Facilitators guide five-week Generous Listening Vuslat Groups using our structured approach. They hold space, model generous listening, and support participants as they reflect, share, and reconnect with themselves and others.

They do not offer therapy.

They offer presence and a safe space for sharing.

The Pathway

1. Experience the Five-Week Program

Every facilitator begins as a participant. Experiencing the five-week program is essential for understanding the essence of the groups.

2. Lead Your Own Group

With guidance and continuous support, facilitators begin leading circles in their own communities, helping the model reach more people.

3. Join the Volunteer Facilitator Training

A structured one-day training led by psychologists and program coordinators, including:

  • foundations of generous listening
  • trauma-informed practice
  • group dynamics & circle methodology
  • ethics, boundaries, and emotional safety
  • session-by-session facilitation tools
  • supervision
