Vuslat Foundation, in partnership with Tufts University’s Jonathan Tisch College of Civic Life, proudly announces the establishment of the Generous Listening and Dialogue (GLAD) Center. Under the guidance of Peter Levine, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, and led by distinguished experts in the field, the GLAD Center stands as a beacon for fostering authentic dialogue and generous listening across diverse perspectives.

Enriching Campus and Community Dialogue

The Center is uniquely positioned to collaborate with various schools, departments across the university, and external partners. Its mission is to build and sustain a robust community committed to dialogue and truly generous listening, especially amidst differences in power, status, and opinion.

Our Focus: Civic Engagement, Listening, and Dialogue

GLAD Center places a special emphasis on civic engagement and dialogue on challenging societal issues. Generous listening is at the core of our approach, embracing the art of listening to ourselves, others, and nature. This broad definition underscores the importance of understanding and empathy in all interactions.
