Seda Aka

Field Worker

As a Field Worker, Seda Aka plays a key role in implementing the Generous Listening Emotional Support Groups in Adıyaman by actively engaging with participants. Her responsibilities include facilitating group sessions, collecting feedback and data from participants, and observing the impact of the sessions. She shares her insights with the project team, contributing to the continuous improvement of the initiative.

Before joining Vuslat Foundation, Seda built a distinguished career working with disadvantaged communities. Following the February 6th earthquake, she initially volunteered and later worked professionally in Adıyaman, providing trauma-focused individual psychological support and leading group therapy sessions. She brings her extensive experience in trauma support to her current role.

Seda holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bartın University.
